System requirements
MindCraft's first public release targets Minecraft Java Edition 26.2. Bedrock Edition, mobile, and console Minecraft are not supported.
Required software
- Minecraft
- Java Edition 26.2. MindCraft does not silently change your Minecraft version or launcher profile.
- Java
- Java 25, used by the launch profile for Minecraft 26.2.
- Fabric Loader
- 0.19.3, pinned for the tested build.
- Fabric API
- 0.154.2+26.2, supplied only through the signed release manifest.
- Launcher
- A launcher that can run a Fabric profile for the exact supported Minecraft version. Installer support is shown only when a signed installer is published for your platform.
Device and connection
- A Windows, macOS, or Linux computer capable of running the supported Minecraft Java release.
- A working microphone with operating-system permission for spoken reading activities.
- An internet connection for account linking, sentence generation, speech processing, and progress updates. Minecraft can continue if practice temporarily cannot connect.
- Access to the Minecraft mods folder for manual installation or recovery.
