Compatibility and updates

One tested Minecraft version at a time

MindCraft checks protocol, mod, Minecraft, and Fabric Loader compatibility. Installer version and coarse operating-system family are reported only for release diagnostics. It never silently changes your Minecraft version or launcher profile.

Public-release status: Minecraft Java 26.2 is the only launch target. Signed, verified 26.2 installers and canonical artifacts are still pending, so public downloads and mandatory version enforcement remain on hold.

What an update state means

Optional update: You may keep playing. MindCraft links to the release notes and does not alter the profile.
Required update: While enforcement is advisory, MindCraft reports the update without interrupting existing clients. After signed artifacts are published and enforcement is active, reading practice pauses before a paid provider call. Minecraft itself keeps running.
Unsupported Minecraft: While enforcement is advisory, MindCraft reports the supported Java version. After signed artifacts are published and enforcement is active, practice pauses. There is no automatic Minecraft upgrade or downgrade.
Withdrawn release: Practice pauses and points to the declared last-known-good rollback release.
Service pause: A global emergency switch can pause practice without uninstalling the mod or touching a launcher profile.
Offline check: The client keeps its last server-confirmed compatibility decision. It does not invent a new version or rewrite a profile.

MindCraft Reader 26.2 beta 11: after a missed math answer the game reads the problem and answer aloud, for example "one minus one equals zero". On a Mac, open MindCraft Reader from Applications and press Play so Minecraft has microphone permission.
