These immutable URLs and SHA-256 values come directly from the verified release manifest. Compare the downloaded bytes before any install step.

Exact requirements

  • Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2, launched once through the official native Launcher; Bedrock is unsupported.
  • Launcher-provisioned Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.19.3, and Fabric API 0.154.2+26.2.
  • A microphone available to Java Sound for signed 16 kHz, 16-bit mono PCM capture and working PCM output for read-along audio.
  • DNS and outbound HTTPS/443 to www.mindcraftreader.com plus official Fabric metadata/Maven services during bootstrap.
  • Close Minecraft and the Launcher before changing profiles. Linux support is provisionally Ubuntu 24.04 LTS x86_64 with the native official Launcher only—not Flatpak, Snap, Prism, MultiMC, Modrinth App, Steam Deck, or ARM64.

Install, repair, rollback, uninstall, and diagnostics

  1. Run the matching verified installer with --dry-run install, then install. It creates only the dedicated mindcraft-reader game directory/profile.
  2. Use repair to re-fetch the installed signed release and restore only MindCraft-owned files. Unexpected changed bytes are disabled and preserved.
  3. Use rollback for the one locally verified previous release. The canonical manifest separately declares last-known-good version for server-side release recovery.
  4. Use uninstall to remove only installer-owned JARs and restore the pre-install profile entry. Worlds, screenshots, unrelated mods, and unrelated profiles remain.
  5. Use diagnostics --output /absolute/path/MindCraft-Reader-diagnostics.json. The JSON contains version/count/integrity booleans only; it excludes accounts, children, speech, usernames, home paths, profile names, and worlds.

Instalación, reparación, reversión, desinstalación y diagnóstico

  1. Ejecuta primero --dry-run install con el instalador verificado correspondiente y después install. Solo crea el directorio y perfil dedicados mindcraft-reader.
  2. Usa repair para volver a descargar la versión firmada instalada y restaurar únicamente los archivos propiedad de MindCraft. Los bytes modificados se desactivan y se conservan.
  3. Usa rollback para volver a la única versión anterior verificada localmente.
  4. Usa uninstall para eliminar solo los JAR propiedad del instalador y restaurar la entrada de perfil previa. Se conservan mundos, capturas, mods ajenos y perfiles ajenos.
  5. Usa diagnostics --output /ruta/absoluta/MindCraft-Reader-diagnostics.json. El archivo solo contiene versiones, conteos e indicadores de integridad; excluye cuentas, menores, voz, nombres de usuario, rutas personales, perfiles y mundos.
